The next meeting of the Colleyville Garden Club will be Wednesday, April 6th at the Colleyville Center. Social time will begin at 9:30 am and the meeting will commence at 10:00 am. The program, “The Essential Bat”, will be presented by Kate Rugroden.

Kate Rugroden is a wildlife rehabilitator specializing in bats, opossums, and raccoons. She has over 30 years of experience in presenting live animal programs and 15 years as a rehabilitator. She serves as Director of Special Projects of Operations for Bat World Sanctuary and presents educational programs to thousands of adults and children throughout the DFW Metroplex. She has co-authored the book, The Essential Bat. She is approved by the Texas Department of State Health Services and American Association of Veterinary State Boards as an instructor for continuing education hours and is certified as an instructor for the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement.
