Blue Star Memorial Highway Rededication
November 6, 2024

Northwest corner of Highway 26 and John McCain Road
Parking across the highway at Bear Creek Spirits & Wine
Colleyville Garden Club is hosting a ceremony to rededicate our Blue Star Memorial Highway Marker on November 6 at 4:30 pm, located at the linear park on the Northwest corner of Highway 26 and John McCain Road. Parking is available across the highway at Bear Creek Spirits & Wine.
The Blue Star Memorial Highway Marker is a program of National Garden Clubs. It is a privilege to have this tribute in Colleyville to honor all men and women who serve, have served, and will serve in the United States Armed Services.
Colleyville Garden Club originally installed this Marker at the above location and dedicated it to our National Armed Forces on May 22, 1992. It was later taken down for highway improvements and reinstalled and rededicated on November 11, 2019. A few years ago, it was again removed so that more area construction could be performed. It was recently erected again and will serve as a lasting tribute to past, present, and future military personnel.
Please invite anyone you know who would be interested in coming, especially our veterans.
We thank the City of Colleyville for its support. The program will last 20-30 minutes.
