Colleyville resident and financial executive Adriana Lopez-Hammer was recently elected to a three-year term with the Texans Can Academies’ Board of Trustees. Texans Can Academies is an open enrollment, tuition-free, public high school system of choice with 11 campuses statewide.

Lopez-Hammer is the vice president of business development for Triumph Business Capital and has worked extensively in business and finance in the Irving area almost 20 years. Fluent in Spanish, Lopez-Hammer is the current treasurer of the Executive Board of the Hispanic 100, former chair of the Executive Board of the Concilio, and past president elect of Head Start of Greater Dallas. A graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics, Lopez has always enjoyed volunteering with children and the community.

“Working with children and giving back to our community is a lifelong passion of mine,” says Lopez-Hammer. “I’m honored to serve Texans Can Academies and support their impressive strides for students that need extra support and attention to continue their high school education and create an independent life for themselves.”
