On November 1, 2015, the Colleyville Area Chapter of The National Charity League had a canned food drive to benefit G.R.A.C.E. (Grapevine Relief and Community Exchange). The Ticktocker members, girls in grades 7-11 met and picked up cans in area neighborhoods. The girls were able to gather up 110 boxes of donated food items to help G.R.A.C.E. fill their food pantry. Those boxes were brought to McPherson Park in Colleyville, Texas where the Ticktocker Senior girls and their fathers were gathered to sort the food donations. Mothers of the Senior Ticktockers met to bring the donations to G.R.A.C.E. on Monday morning, November 2. Monday evening, the Patronesses (mothers of the Ticktockers), met at the Colleyville Center to celebrate the 20th birthday of the Colleyville Area Chapter of The National Charity League and report the annual G.R.A.C.E. food drive totals. The Patronesses had a great time celebrating with cake at the conclusion of their monthly meeting.

The National Charity League, Inc. Colleyville Area Chapter was founded in 1993. Current membership stands at 334 members and the Chapter provides hands-on volunteer service for 27 philanthropic organizations in the community. Through this community service, NCL develops socially responsible community leaders and strengthens the mother-daughter relationship. The traditional NCL program also includes cultural awareness and leadership experiences. NCL mother-daughter teams nationwide are responsible, dedicated, skilled volunteers actively engaged in local community work in 23 states across the country. To date, there are a total of 196 chapters, 6 of which are in Tarrant County. Nationally, National Charity League has 208 Chapters in 23 states with over 56,000 members. There are 65 chapters in Texas alone and 23 of those are in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area.
