The GCISD Board of Trustees will hold its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, December 12th, instead of the traditional fourth Monday on December 26th, due to Winter Break.

Students from Grapevine High School will lead the Pledge of Allegiance and the board will recognize the 2011 GCISD Holiday Card Winners as well as Heritage Elementary School's nurse, Mimi Lohn. Heather Cato will also be recognized for being chosen at the Middle School Teacher of the Year by TCTELA.

The Board will also act on the approval of the guaranteed maximum price range for additions and renovations to Bear Creek Elementary School, Silver Lake Elementary School, and Colleyville Middle School, as well as renovations to the Swim Center; and roof replacements to Colleyville Middle School, Colleyville Heritage High School, Grapevine Middle School, and Grapevine High School.

Also on the agenda: the 2012-13 budget parameters and the 2012-13 student-teacher calendar.
