If you smell any smoke in the city of Colleyville on Tuesday, it might be because of a "prescribed" fire at Cedar Hill State Park, near Beltline Road in Cedar Hill. Texas Parks and Wildlife will be conducting the fire from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

The fire is being set to "restore natural ecological conditions to control native tall grasses and prairie grasses around the lake and to reduce fuel loads in those areas," according to the city.

Although the fire is being set in controlled conditions in a location rather far from Colleyville, the smell of smoke may be carried into the city.
