The Colleyville Area Chamber of Commerce announced that their third annual Empowered Woman event, presented by Allen Samuels, will be held on Wednesday, July 11 at Colleyville Center from 10:00am – 1:00pm.  Colleyville Center is located at 5301 Riverwalk Drive, Colleyville, TX, 76034.

The Empowered Woman’s event showcases the area’s dynamic and successful businesswomen.  Guest speakers will include Dorian Stacy Sims, president of Stacy’s Furniture, and Rena Tarbet, national sales director of Mary Kay Cosmetics. 

Terri Suresh, managing director of eWomen Network and owner/president of Hormonal Health & Wellness, will perform Master of Ceremonies.

Women from the community will come together to enjoy networking, lunch provided by Buca di Beppo and great door prizes.  

Chairman of the Board Rebecca Barksdale states, “This event is an opportunity to hear and take applicable lessons home from high-achieving women who will share how to find balance in our lives while juggling career, family and community.”

Members will have the opportunity to market their businesses with a showcase table, provide a door prize for exposure or participate as an event sponsor.  Current sponsors include Allen Samuels, eWomen Network, Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine, Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital HEB, Worthington Bank, Fort Worth Star-Telegram, The Colleyville Courier, Sweet Memories and Southwest Bank.   

Reservations should be made in advance at www.colleyvillechamber.org.  Admission is $30 for members and $35 for non-members.  Tables of 10 are available for $250.
