The Colleyville Area Chamber of Commerce announces the 4th annual Empowered Woman’s event presented by Allen Samuels will be held on Wednesday, July 17th at Colleyville Center from 10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Colleyville Center is located at 5301 Riverwalk Drive, Colleyville, TX, 76034.
The Empowered Woman — Jewels of Community event is designed to showcase the area’s multi-faceted and successful women. Sharon Schieffer Mayes, Director of the Penrose Foundation and Member of the Board of Trustees for Cook Children’s Medical Center, will be the keynote speaker. As a career educator and retired school administrator, having served in this community as a teacher, vice principal and principal, Sharon will share her life story growing up with brothers Bob and Tom Schieffer and how education empowers women to imagine, achieve and prosper. Faye Beaulieu, Regional Director – Northeast; United Way of Tarrant County will serve as Mistress of Ceremonies.
Women from the community will come together to enjoy networking, lunch provided by Trio New American Café and exclusive raffle prizes including a Michael Kors Hamilton Studded leather bag, a COACH Cobalt Blue Leather bag & multi-color scarf, a Medi-Spa Gift Basket and much more! Raffle tickets are available for presale at www.colleyvillechamber.org. Bear Creek Spirits & Wine is providing beverages which will be available for purchase during the networking hour.
Businesses will have the opportunity to market with a showcase table, provide a door prize for exposure or participate as an event sponsor.
