Announcing the 9th annual Run for Rescue on April 14th, 2018!

What is Run for Rescue?

Run for Rescue is an annual 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk that supports the Child Rescue Centre and Mercy Hospital in Sierra Leone, Africa . This is a great race for all levels of runners and walkers. We have some very fast runners, some great teams, lots of runners who keep their hand in by running regularly, and quite a few people that make this their one race per year. We also have folks that bring their dogs, run with strollers, and others that enjoy a good walk. The course winds through local neighborhoods, lending itself to both running and walking.  Whether you are trying to improve your 5K time or taking your dog for a stroll, these tree-lined streets will fit the bill.

The 9th Annual Run for Rescue will take place on Saturday morning April 14, 2018.  The run starts and ends at First United Methodist Church of Colleyville.

After the race, participants enjoy a free pancake breakfast, awards for all age groups, door prizes and a silent auction.
