If you’re planning on taking a trip to City Hall or the public library, remember that the city offices will have different schedules in the coming weeks.

City offices, including the library and senior center, will be closed on Monday, Dec. 24; Tuesday, Dec. 25 and Tuesday, Jan. 1 for Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year’s Day.

For customers with a Tuesday/Friday collection schedule, no trash or recycle collection will be conducted on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day. Trash collection will resume on a normal schedule on Friday, Dec. 28, and Friday, Jan. 4.

However, IESI will collect recycling only for Tuesday recycle customers on Wednesday, Dec. 26, and Wednesday, Jan. 2. The company added alternate days due to the extended period affected customers would have gone without recycling service.
