The Colleyville Area Chamber of Commerce announces the 30th annual City Slickers Auction presented by Select Roofing will be held on Sunday, April 28 at the Grapevine Convention Center from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. Grapevine Convention Center is located at 1209 S. Main Street, Grapevine, TX 76051.
City Slickers is the chamber’s largest fundraising event and benefits a variety of chamber programs including promotion of local businesses, educational opportunities and leadership events. Attendees include chamber members, state and local elected officials, business leaders and hundreds of residents from the region.
The event features food samples from over 15 local restaurants including Mac’s Steaks & Seafood, JR's Steakhouse, Boi Na Braza, TriBeCa Americana Bistro & Lounge, Red Dog Right, Palio’s Pizza, Fish City Grill, Cotton Patch Café, Italianni’s, Next Wood Fired Bistro, Market Street, Trinity BBQ, Molto Formaggio Cheese Shop, LeSara Cupcake Bar, Scooter’s Coffee & Yogurt and Texas Roadhouse. Coors Distributing Co. and Coca-Cola Bottling Co are providing a variety of beverages. The classic rock/blues sounds of Master Cylinder Band will ensure a casual yet energetic atmosphere.
The main attraction to City Slickers is the array of auction items from spa packages and golfing outings to professional sports entertainment packages, hotel stays and luxury handbags. Interior design consultations, handyman services, weekend use of a Mercedes-Benz GLK and the Colonial Golf Tournament VIP Package are examples of the unique and exclusive bidding opportunities that City Slickers has to offer.
Tickets are available for $20/each and include unlimited food and beverage. Tickets will be sold at the door or can be purchased in advance at ColleyvilleChamber.org or by calling 817-488-7148.
