Mr. Cladwell's chorus

CHHS's production of Urinetown has been chosen as a Mainstage Show for the 2014 Texas Thespian State Festival.  The International Thespian Festival is and honor society that recognizes outstanding actors and technicians from around the globe.

COME SEE THIS OUTSTANDING CAST AND CREW BEFORE THEY "TAKE THEIR SHOW ON THE ROAD."

Don't let the title fool you; "Urinetown" is not just a show about toilet humor.

"Urinetown" is the hit musical comedy by Mark Hollmann and Greg Kotis that takes a somewhat unpleasant premise, and turns it completely upside down, producing a marvelously witty and entertaining evening of contemporary musical theatre. "Urinetown" played to full houses on Broadway for three years, and will be presented by CHHS Theatre Department under the direction of Jacquie Devino.   For the first time at CHHS, a main-stage show has been choreographed, designed, and vocally directed by our own incredibly talented students.  The performance is a testimony to the leadership, talent, dedication, and creativity CHHS students possess.

Come to Urinetown, you may never want to leave.

CHHS is a proud participant in the Dallas Summer Musical High School Musical Theatre Awards program.
