North Texas Moves Into 1^st Place after Crushing UT El Paso 41-7 on Nov. 9

The North Texas Mean Green (7-3, 5-1 Conference USA) wins 5th conference game over the UTEP Miners (1-8, 0-5 Conference USA) in a game played Saturday, Nov. 9 at Apogee Stadium in Denton. The win moves the Mean Green in 1st place in the Conference USA West Division. The Mean Green’s next and last home game will be on Saturday, November 23 against UTSA.

Colleyville Smashes LD Bell 49-16, Heads to Playoffs

The Colleyville Panthers (8-2, 6-1 District 6-5A) defeated the LD Bell Blue Raiders (7-3, 5-2 District 6-5A) in this final 2013 district game played Friday, Nov. 8 at Mustang-Panther Stadium. This was the Panthers’ eighth straight win and it secured second place in District 6-5A.. Colleyville will take on Denton Ryan in a bi-district playoff game on Friday, Nov. 15 at 7:30 p.m. at Mustang-Panther Stadium

UNT Mean Green Overpowers Southeastern Oklahoma in Exhibition Game 97-65

The North Texas Mean Green men's basketball team defeated Southeastern Oklahoma Savage Storm, 97-65, on Monday, Nov. 4 in an exhibition game at the Super Pit on the campus of UNT.

North Texas Slips Pass Rice to Become Bowl-Eligible 26-18 on Halloween

The North Texas Mean Green (6-3, 4-1 Conference USA) wins 4th conference game over the Rice Owls (8-1, 4-1 Conference USA) in a game played Thursday, October 31 at Apogee Stadium in Denton. The Mean Green is bowl-eligible for the first time in nine seasons.

The Mean Green collected a sixth victory in front of a national television audience by scoring on offense, special teams and with a physical defense. The Mean Green’s next home game will be on Saturday, November 9 against UT El Paso.
